Stop Tinkering About!

Stop Tinkering About!

GOVERNMENTS, INDUSTRY, TRANSPORT COMPANIES AND PROGRESSIVE OIL COMPANIES MUST PUT THE SPOTLIGHT ON FUEL COMBUSTION AS OPPOSED TO ENGINE SIZE IN ORDER TO SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE GREEN HOUSE GASES AND INCREASE FUEL EFFICIENCIES.

Dipetane Fuel Technology (DFT)

An Introduction to Dipetane Fuel Technology

Benefits to Transport, Major Cities and Industry

The level of Green House Gases (CO2’s & NOx) and vehicle miles per gallon/fuel efficiency are primarily a function of fuel combustion and not engine size.

Our Government , Industry, Transport and Oil Distributor Companies should be promoting ‘Best Practice Combustion’ in Ireland.

Best Practice Combustion Dipetane Fuels/ Dipetane Fuel Technology will give all of us the following benefits:

  • 10% more fuel efficiency

  • 25% less Green House Gases

  • 50% less smoke

  • 40% prolonged engine/boiler parts life

* All of Dipetane’s claims are based on extensive fleet trials and a twenty year track record.

All of the above major environmental and economic benefits are being achieved for all of Ireland’s best run companies using Dipetane over the past two decades with very significant cash savings. (See www.dipetane.com).

Dipetane best practice combustion is based soundly on the principle of burning all of the carbon that has been paid for, not washing it away with detergent additives as in standard fuels. This pre-combustion treatment with Dipetane is what leads to the benefits outlined above.

Currently, standard fuels with best additives as supplied by the major oil companies is second best technology because the carbon you have paid for is washed away with detergent additives. This wastes a significant amount of fuel and creates extra emissions, all of which is avoidable using Dipetane treated fuels.

This is why our Government should put the spotlight on fuel combustion primarily and subsequently on engine size.

What our Government and others need to do…today

Our Government should actively promote best practice combustion fuels, i.e. Dipetane treated fuels, if it seriously wants to reach its Kyoto emission targets.

This immediate action should include:

  1. Give a 2 cent per litre rebate on the use of best practice fuels. This rebate will ensure that all fuel retailers will adopt best practice fuels.

  2. Seek derogation from EC emissions penalties for a test period of 3 to 5 years on account of mandating that all fuels used in Ireland must be best practice fuels.

Benefits

    1. All Irish users will attain the previously mentioned benefits

    2. Ireland as a whole will attain its Kyoto targets

    3. The Irish Government will make major net cash savings by avoiding EC fines of hundreds of millions per year

    4. The Irish economy will receive a massive growth multiplier effect through the previously mentioned benefits.

Paying taxes and avoiding emission reductions

Tinkering around with taxes on engine sizes will result in people paying the taxes and avoiding emission reductions, this negates the attainment of emission reduction objectives.

The falsehood in ‘New Engine’ emission/MPG figures

Our Government and others should understand that OEM (new engine) emissions and MPG are based on the false premise that engines will not develop Combustion Chamber Deposits (CCD’s). CCD’s occur in all engines after two months of road usage and are the proven cause of wasted fuel and extra emissions. (See MIT Report on our web site.)

NCT’s and DOE Vehicle emission tests

All Irish vehicles that fail the above European standard emission/smoke tests using standard fuels, subsequently pass these tests when they use Dipetane treated fuels, i.e. best practice combustion.

Coca-Cola Bottlers Ltd., Roadstone Dublin and many other well run Irish companies plus thousands of car and truck owners and tens of thousands of home owners are benefiting from major fuel savings whilst being good environmentalists because they all use Dipetane treated fuels.

How Dipetane Works

Dipetane treated fuel 'burns' the carbon much more completely than standard combustion including additive treated fuels which simply “wash away” carbon that should have been burnt.

Combustion Chamber Deposits (CCD's) are significantly reduced using Dipetane as are all Green House Gases (GHG's) and smoke.

Dipetane is the sole ‘pre-combustion’ technology worldwide; Dipetane arranges the carbon, prior to combustion, for more complete burning.

Whereas standard fuels with the best additives are all “post combustion” technologies, their use of detergents to “wash away” valuable carbon which wastes fuel and causes more emissions.

Dipetane is a single liquid product for all fuels. It has its own lubricant and it complies with all relevant British, EU and USA Standards, including low sulphur fuels. Dipetane is mixed in the ratio of 1:200 for all liquid hydrocarbon fuels.

Dipetane’s forward stability is constant. Warranties for boilers and engines remain intact.

Do not confuse Dipetane treated fuel with standard fuel treated with additives, or with standard combustion.

Standard Combustion

All standard combustion fuels, including those with the best additives, use detergents to 'wash away' much of the un-burnt carbon. Despite this, CCD's will form and produce more GHG's ,smoke and waste fuel. (See MIT report ).
